Once a year we highlight a movie we feel is significant to our understanding of life. This year it is:"The Shift"
Starring Dr. Wayne Dyre, Portia de Rossi and Michael DeLuise.
At the age of 68 Dr. Wayne Dyer has made his first film, an engaging exploration of our longing for more purpose and meaning. Early in life we follow the path mapped out by ego - a path of ambition, competition and striving. at mid-life, we question the direction we're heading and yearn to find our true calling. through the interwoven stories of a businessman, a mother and a film director, this inspiring film shows us how to find the path to our spiritual purpose and therefore our greatest joy.
Dr Dyer was asked what's the most important life changing thing that you'd like people to walkaway with after seeing this film?
Dr Dyer: That everyone has dharma, a destiny, a calling of the soul. Every bird, every tree, every person comes into this world with something it is destined to do. All the creatures on the planet don't get confused about this. They are what they are. Human beings, because they take on a false self, or ego, start to belive that what they do or what they have defines them. "The Shift" illustrates that when you are at peace and you let go, you will be guided into your dharma. You will be living a life of meaning rather than ambition. That is the "Shift."

Linda A Jacquin
Linda A Jacquin’s knowledge and understanding of Near-Death Experiences are the result of two near-death experiences and one shared experience. Her first NDE occurred at age 4½ when she drowned while playing in a creek at a church picnic. Her spiritual experience between drowning and resuscitation would permanently influence the course of her life. Three years later at age 7 ½ while in the hospital following eye surgery she had a shared death experience with a classmate, Jimmy. At age 40 while in the intensive care unit, she again experienced clinical death and encountered her brother, who had died ten days before.
- Linda Jacquin served on the board of IANDS from 2000-2006, serving thee years as Vice President. She was also Editor of Vital Signs, IANDS quarterly newsletter.
- In 2006 she founded the annual Retreat for Near-Death Experiencers, fulfilling her longstanding vision to create a sacred space for NDErs to share their NDEs and the life-changing after effects with each other (experiencer to experiencer).
- From the information shared at the first retreat, she co-authored the Journal of Near-Death Studies article, Six Major Challenges Faced by Near-Death Experiencers with Yolaine M. Stout, and Dr. P.M.H. Atwater. The website www.neardeathexperiencers.org was also one of the gifts of that retreat and has information experiencers want to share with the world, including Pearls of Wisdom from our NDEs, art, poetry and information on upcoming retreats.
- She is a founding director and Treasurer of ACISTE, American Center for the Integration of Spiritually Transformative Experiences, www.aciste.org
Linda gives talks on the near-death experience across the United States, Hawaii and Canada, appearing on US and Canadian radio and TV broadcasts. She was featured on the DVD documentary, ‘Cheating Death -- Beyond and Back,’ a trailer to the movie ‘Final Destination II.’ Linda was the consultant on the Capstone Children’s Book, Near-Death Experiences and is currently writing her own book.

Craig Junjulas was working at a Fortune 500 Chemical company, living in a dead end marriage, symptomatic with, burning legs, headaches and insomnia, when all the while he yearned to fulfill his passion of being a songwriter/author! With the help of therapy, a hypnotherapist and psychic past life reading, he pushed through the strain of his scientific belief system and started meditation. Craig is offering two workshops that work wonderfully together or on their own! His approach brings a fresh perspective to advanced students while providing down to earth basics for beginners. His classes promote personal growth, psychic awareness, and spiritual development by utilizing a lively and light-hearted combination of channeled information, relaxation techniques, guided meditations, imaginative exercises and powerful energy.
Craig’s workshops are inspirational and transformational. The informal atmosphere also encourages you to awaken to higher consciousness, get in touch with the voice of inner guidance, and take you on a journey into higher levels of reality.
Morning Session:
Connecting with Our Guidance While Walking the Human Path
Sunday 10:30am to 1:30pm (registration is at 10am)
$75 if taken alone ($125 for both Sessions)
In the morning session, Craig will focus on helping us to strengthen our connection to our intuitive and spiritual guidance of the higher realms as well as teach us how to make sure we are protecting ourselves. While walking the human path, we all deal with negativity in people and situations around us, so he will give us some pointers on setting up automatic defense systems within the aura. Craig will combine a talk with experiential and hopefully even a meditation to get us well on our way to finding our own intuitive connection while being human!
Afternoon Session:
Soul Development, Ascension & The Out of Body Experience
Sunday 2:30 to 5:30pm (registration is at 2:00pm)
$75 if taken alone ($125 for both Sessions)
The afternoon session, Craig will introduce us to the Ascension process including the psychological, emotional and spiritual factors of soul development. He will show us how to remove past life blocks so we can bring forward past life talents to use in our life today! We’ll also learn about Out of Body projects as a form of meditation for development and spiritual research. Like in the morning session, Craig will mix lecture, experiential and meditation in a fun, laid back way.
